3 Easy Spring Porch Updates
If you are anything like me you are so ready for spring! So take that buffalo plaid rug, holiday wreath and winter decor and pack it up! It’s time for some changes. Here are 3 easy updates that can be done for less than $200!
Since we aren’t ready to give up the welcome mat layering trend just yet we have a cute option to usher in warmer days. This neutral black and white rug can transition your porch quickly and with minimal effort. Just place your welcome mat on top of this indoor outdoor rug and throw it in the wash whenever it needs it. Which in my house is about once a month. Hang to dry.

Need a new welcome mat? Ours always get destroyed by all the home projects we do and the rough dirty boots of our contractors who come in and out. Investing in a nicer thick welcome mat is worth it since welcome mats really are the first impression guests see as they approach your door and the higher quality versions clean shoes and stay crisp longer. My favorite is this Pottery Barn version that can be customized.
Another quick update is to switch up the holiday wreath that’s been up for way too long with a timeliness olive wreath that can stay up for a while. We like the California wine country look of olive greenery and finding a realistic faux version lasts much longer than natural ones. Add some ribbon for color.
